Savio Youth Ministry
What is the Youth Ministry?
We are a group of youth from the parish who celebrate our faith together through friendship, fun and learning.
What is our role?
Besides growing in a shared faith, we also dedicate our time to serving our church, by helping other young people like us discover God.
What do we do?
A. We plan fun stuff, like facilitate in camps and organise sports meets, so that the students and youth can have an enjoyable time in church.
B. We have faith formation and worship sessions to deepen our faith and sing praises to God.
C. We prepare special exam/youth masses to give all of us students a spiritual boost at important points in the year.
D. We have also taken on parish-scale projects such as organizing a family day carnival and Christmas pageant.
Why do we do these things?
Simply put, it is the joy of bringing people together and placing Jesus in our midst. What can you look forward to in the Ministry? A place to discover more about your faith, a home to make new friends and a big open field to continue the wonderful work of our Lord Jesus.
When do we meet?
We meet every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. for mass and then at 11.45 a.m. at the cabin beside the playground for our weekly activities.
