+++ Liturgy of the Word with Children +++
 
Every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month  9 am mass @ St Carlo’s Room
 
For children aged 4-11
 
Children gather 15 minutes ahead to practice  hymns and responses

VISION
All children of God are fed with the holy Word of God
“if you love me, take care of my lambs…”
(John 21:15)
 
MISSION
That children take home and live the message of the gospel by making relevant to them the liturgy of the word at mass

OBJECTIVES

  • Explain the word of God to children at their level of understanding through various approaches
  • Relate the word of God to children’s life experiences
  • Develop children’s understanding of the mass and participation at mass.
  • Help children know their catholic faith
METHODS
Reinforcing the Gospel message through:-
skits … role-plays … dialogue … storytelling
puppetry … craftwork … reflection …
dramatization … song n dance … multi-media

for those who serve in the ministry
  • Monthly sharing on the word of God
  • Monthly group prayer session
  • Fellowship through events/projects and church canteen operation
  • Annual retreat
  • Training workshops
